Our Doctors

Charles Shidlofsky

O.D., FOVDR, FNAP

A leader in Neuro-Optometry globally and our clinical director, “Dr. S,” as he goes by, completed his pre-optometry studies at the University of Texas at Austin in 1984, and went on to earn his BS (1986) and OD (1988) from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He also serves as President of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA). As an avid fan of the Dallas Stars and UT Longhorns, you can count on him watching the next game or flying when not at NVA!

D'Anne Harp

MS, O.D., LMT, CES

Our newest team addition, Dr. Harp graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1998 from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in English,aBSinPsychology.On topofgraduateworkin Oxford, England and California, she graduated from Western University College of Optometry in 2024. After graduation, she completed her residency in Vision Rehabilitation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, working with Drs. Fortenbacher and Parz, specializing in vision therapy/rehabilitation for brain injuries and pediatric cases. Dr. Harp also enjoys live music, travel/nature, fitness/running, martial arts and good food.

Amir Masoud

O.D.

Focusing on Pediatric Eye Care and Neuro-Optometry, Dr. Masoud graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology through the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers University before completing my Doctor of Optometry degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in 2024. When not at the office, he enjoys going outdoors, being a foodie or just enjoying time with his family!
